Teaching English Language Learners
What is T.E.L.L.?
T.E.L.L. teaches English language learners so that they can thrive here in their new homes and communities.
These classes are held rotationally through the year at Journey Baptist Church on Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm.
These classes are FREE!
Please help us get this information to anyone wanting to learn English!
Students
We offer both beginner and intermediate lessons consisting of a main instructor and English-language partners for our students.
Classes are on Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm at 5708 King Hill Ave, St. Joseph, MO 64504. They are currently in session starting September 7 through November 16.

Volunteer
We need volunteers who can be English-language partners for our international friends.
You do not need any prior training to do this, (besides a background check), just a willingness to have conversations and follow the instructor's lead.
Volunteering does not mean you need to commit to every Saturday. Any help would be much appreciated!
